beeeeeeeep
off for the holidays, have a merry xmas!
off for the holidays, have a merry xmas!
ooooh, i HATES ME some snipers.
10 seconds to go on this auction that hadn’t gotten a bid in 3 days. i was getting all cocky so i decided to win the fellers other auction and save on shipping.
and i was going ‘au natural’… no sniping software or anything. just reloading and typing. enough of that. grrrrr.
in other news, i’m doing a cool flash presentation based on macromedia’s executive presentation. video IN flash ON the web. tight deadline too, scary stuff.
christmas is a very busy time of year.
been doing some work for ryan. i’m doing the artwork for his label’s re-release of Lyrical Prophets. fun stuff there.
busy mailing out all those ebay purchases, got some really good cash back for things that i wasn’t using.
company dinner last nite at some crazy-expensive french restaurant in great falls. the food was just about as good as food can be. if you’re really into food, that is. i ate a snail.
spinning kind of like spitting’s ‘bridges worth burning’ and cursive’s ‘domestica’ over and over. good cold weather music.

had ourselves a jolly time at the Lexwarming.

john’s car died, so we waited at 7.11 for the tow truck. LL was there.

these two houses compete with each other every year.

every year it gets more ridiculous.
xmas shopping is DONE! having a wife as organized as mine is truly a good thing.
now i just have to get something for her. why can’t she organize that too?

i use eudora to manage my email at work and i’ve found my absolute most favorite plug-in: Spamnix
it’s based on the same SpamAssassin code that I have running on my blank sky ‘nix account. captures 100% of the spam and sends it to a purgatorial folder. next to no ‘accidental captures’ either.
the reports it gives on each mail is kinda neat to look at too…
i’ve decided that next year, i’m going to have christmas in june.
every year it works out the same, work is slow through the fall but picks up to a hectic pace once the holidays are here. i thought this was a time for resting and christmas cheer? don’t these people have families?
eh, it’s good work tho… so i don’t have room to complain.
sat out the horrendous ice storm (not) yesterday and worked from home. that’s such the ideal life. wake up early to take the pup out, back inside for a nap, finally get to work around 10, lunch and a brief skating expedition (found an empty dry parking lot nearby), then more work ’till 7ish. is it possible that i got more done than i would at the office? had more fun, too.
get back to work!

i started my 2002 eBay purge sunday. clearing out some junk just to see what some folks will pay for it. it’s funny how obsessed i quickly become with things like this. i swear i’ll check my bids a dozen times a day and giggle when the numbers change. yea, like YOU don’t do stuff like that too…
after a couple of close calls yesterday and today starting up the camry, i took her in to the shop during lunch for some ignition tests and left with a new battery and a lighter wallet. pouring money into the car and bike lately. gotta love it.
