holy crap, motorhead/dio/maiden was incredible last night. i was amazed to see that more people were into dio than motorhead… what’s up with that? this is the guy that ruined sabbath! whatever… maiden put on a gaddam amazing show. opening with number of the beast, they had a 15ft tall ‘666′ light display flood the pavilion during the chorus… yeah. played lots of old stuff, spoke the truth on filesharing, had a 20ft live-action eddie on stilts… all the good stuff.
and of course the people watching was incredible.
spent 2 1/2 hours in traffic on 495 getting up to merriweather (45 miles away). screw this place, we’re moving to raliegh!
huh, rodeoRob and myself officially have a show at the national press club in september. how weird is that?
now we just have to figure out which noises we’re gonna make… and something to call ourselves.
Bikers have the reputation of having an attitude of superiority and are not popular in rural communities. Many are very rude. They choose to take the middle of the highway as their right-of-way, disregarding local residents who are trying to get to their destinations… and they refuse to budge. They appear to be saying, “I just dare you.” They readily ask for help when they have a problem but show little appreciation.
and ho-lee crap, how can i NOT highlight this little gem from my comments:
Entry #1887 – November 12, 2001
I’m only e-mailing you to find out if by any chance you recorded at least one episode of the following TNBC shows below:
1. “Saved by the Bell: The New Class”
2. “One World”
3. “Skate” (”SK8″)
E-mail back to me only if you do have any of those three shows on a VHS tape.

nearly forgot. jack turned 2 today. happy birthday mr diggins!
wicked urban ride last night. we were pushing hard from 8:30 till around 12:30. today i’m wrecked.
idlewild was excellent. not as good a show as the tight confines of the sidebar brought on, but still damn fine. there’s just something about the scottish folk and the icelandic folk that i love. some bizarre quaintness. quaintosity? those aren’t words…
2 awesome things:
redline is giving me a warranty discount replacement on my ‘cross frame. a brand new ‘03 frame for $75. not bad for a 3rd hand bike, eh?
sent my fork out to marzocchi for a rebuild/cryofit/steerer tube replacement. they warrantied the rebuild and cryofit and only charged me for the tube. awesome customer support.
