slept in the backyard last night. nope, kristy didn’t kick me out… we set up the tent and did a test run for our trip to AZ on saturday. except for the slow leak in our air mattress everything worked out pretty well. should be interesting…

got in yesterday from a business trip to san antonio. flew in monday night, up at 6 for an all day meeting with the AF, back to the airport at 5pm for a delayed flight. late flight made us miss our connect and trapped us in dallas for the night. up at 5:30, flight at 7, back to dc by noon. straight to the office for meetings till 3, snuck out and crashed at home. blech.

had my annual review on monday and it went really well, i’m now a senior graphic designer which is very cool.

kristy and i did 150 miles of maryland backroads last weekend on the gs, other than the aching rear ends we had a good time. it’ll be more comfy once she’s on her own bike i’m sure.

finally got around to moving blanksky.com over to a new, bigger, better webhost. this one has lots more room to grow and add functionality. enough functionality to run a brand spanking new domain/forum: DC STREET. hopefully it will attract more than just the people i already know. we’ll see.

i’ve had my eye on that domain for a while now and all the cards kinda fell into place. we’ll see how it all works out. i plan on getting some stickers and flyers made and do a little urban grassroots promotion.

in other news, as of this time tomorrow we’ll be Dr and Mr Greeneltch. that’s right, kristy is doing her graduate defense tomorrow! scary, eh?
