newest toy

after 2 crazy days of buying selling madness, i got rid of the gs and ended up with this, a 1988 FZR400. the lil gs was on craigslist for just under 24 hours, i knew it’d be easy to sell, but i definitely underestimated HOW easy.

i’ve only got about an hour on the FZR under my belt, but i feel like … “oh, THAT’s what streetbikes are like!!” it’s such an entirely different beast than the GS. 14k redline, track ready… soooooo much fun.

first ride of the year

first real ride of the year. backroads leesburg, martinsburg, winchester, front royal. 300+ miles & 8 hours. had a great ride, but it’s got me itching for a newer, more reliable, faster, smoother, bigger bike. no way that’s happening with the lil one on the way though.
