had a good weekend at whitetail. qualified 3rd for the dual slalom, but dropped a chain in the 2nd heat. felt SMOKIN fast on saturday’s DH course and ended up 2nd. got knocked down to 3rd after a timing error was dicovered. it poured rain all day sunday, but had a great time regardless. not a bad course to ride in the mud. lost a few seconds sliding out near the end of the course and finished 8th. combined times for sat & sun put me in 3rd overall.

2 weekends off then back up to Wisp for Mid Atlantic Cup race #4.

spending the birthday weekend racing mtn bikes at whitetail… not a bad way to turn 30, eh? saturday kristy & ryder are heading up with me for DH #1 and the dual slalom race, sunday i’ll head up solo for DH #2. i haven’t touched the DH bike since riding at the Open, so we’ll see how things turn out. wish me luck!
