things are finally starting to slow down a bit after the holidays. had a great time in AZ with the grandparents. biked a little, moto’d a little, hung out in flag and sedona a bit. ryder was a hellion on the flight out, sleeping only 15 minutes of the 5 hour trip and practicing his gymnastics the rest. the way back was the total opposite, he was conked out for 2.5 hours and pretty chill. wish all the flights could be like that.

busy now planning our annual dcstreet pilgrimage to cleveland. we’ll be spending the last weekend in Jan at Ray’s Mtb Park. Had such an amazing time last year, i just had to put together another trip. so far, we have around 16 riders together and i’ve done all the math (kristy helped… ) and logistics around transportation, food & lodging. can’t wait. germantown cycles is even printing up some custom shirts!

my long spell of good health has ended. i’d realized that i haven’t been sick at least since ryder was born… 18 months of health? guess i jinxed myself on that one. i borrowed some of kristy’s sickness and spent the weekend sleeping and blowing my nose. weather’s been so crappy lately there’s not much riding to miss out on anyway.
