the midgetville conspiracy

from the Midgetville thread comments:

"Alright kids, the Midgetville legend gets better. I was there many years ago, and can confirm a secluded cluster of seven creepy tiny houses on Wedderburn. I recently had a renewed interest to see it again since the whole thing may be torn down for new houses. I went back with a friend just last night, and sitting across the entrance to the cul de sac was a police cruiser. The cop was just sitting there in his car, motor running, lights off. There is no chance he was there to do anything but guard the midgets as there is literally nothing else on this street. Hmmm, what are they hiding in Midgetville? This consiracy goes to the top top levels!"

Corey! On Sunday night I had a nightmare about Midgetville! I dreamed that I went wandering around there with my mom, who is notoriously curious. We saw smaller-than-usual trailer homes, and approached one that apparently was so full of junk it had its own trailer home in the front yard to contain the overflow of junk. The overflow of junk was, of course, displayed on the trailer home's (I'm sorry, "manufactured home's") porch--broken coffee pots, tricycles, couches, what have you.

It seemed like the occupants were away, so my mom felt the need to go inside. I followed, but whined the whole time. While we were inside, I looked across the street through a window and saw that a neighbor was coming towards us. He was small and was wearing overalls, muttering to himself, "Pork, pork, pork." I do believe he had a shotgun! He did not run towards us, but obviously had caught us tresspassing. I frrreaked. My mom and I began to scramble to get out but the place was so small we had trouble navigating.

(Then I woke up.)

maybe you were vicariously influenced by the fact that kristy and i WENT to midgetville yesterday. didn't explore much, but an aged smallish man came out onto his porch and glared at us.

that last part of your dream is creepy.
